Amy Salmon

Amy builds on a solid communications career as a leading consultant, teacher and pathfinder in technology and accessibility. She has over seven years experience providing comprehensive review oftechnology products and web sites compliance with Section 508 and the World Wide Accessibility Initiative (WAI) for people with disabilities. Clients have included Motorola, Microsoft, Amtrak and Marriott. She has created 508 Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPAT) for software companies such as Adobe and SoftChalk. Amy is a contributing writer for the American Foundation for the Blind’s technology magazine Access World. Her media relations skills have benefited clients of The Rodgers Group that include IBM and the Alzheimer’s Association. Previously she managed computer training for the Guild for the Blind and served as communications director at The Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind.
