Sommers & Fahrenbach Brand Identity Campaign

THE OBJECTIVE

To update the brand identity while reflecting the enduring strengths of Sommers & Fahrenbach as a full-service supplier of printing to the Chicagoland area for over 90 years.

IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM

As part of a campaign to refresh and reinforce Sommers & Fahrenbach’s visibility as a reputable source for full-service printing since 1919, The Rodgers Group redesigned the company’s logo with a retro look and developed marketing materials to coincide with a holiday mailer. To introduce the redesigned logo, materials included a retrospective of the company’s visual identity through the years with the message: “Our logo reinvented. Our passion reinvested.” In tandem, a new identity brochure was created to reflect design elements of the logo while spotlighting the experience, service and quality behind what the Sommers & Fahrenbach name represents.

RESULTS

With a campaign that honors the tradition and longevity of Sommers & Fahrenbach as a family owned and operated business, the updated logo, materials and messaging also bring a contemporary look and feel in communicating the company’s commitment as it continues to build on the strength of its roots as a knowledgeable, environmentally-conscious source for printing.
